Last option in Morehead City, NC is at Southern Salt Seafood Company live both Friday and Saturday night Roman Sam’s  live on the deck. This is what they recently posted on their FB page :

Hailing from Kinston NC, this four piece band is built around a female vocalist with high powered vocals the likes of Janice Joplin, Journey, and AC/DC; they will bring the roof down every time!

A little more info about the band:

Lead Vocalist: Samantha Holland; Samantha displays a power voice that is matched only by her high energy performance in which she leaves everything on stage. Audiences leave feeling exhausted after having tried to keep up with her.

Lead Guitarist/vocalist: David Brown; Dave brings the soul through his interpretation of ZZ-TOP and The Grateful Dead. He rounds out his performance with some Wide Spread Panic. His guitar work leaves no doubt there is magic in his fingers!

Bassist/vocalist: Mathew Hart; Matt brings the haunting sounds of Ronnie Van Zant to the stage that will never disappoint. The thumping of his bass can be felt in the chest of every party goer making it hard not to get moving on the dance floor.

Drummer/vocalist: Joey Gillette; Joey sets the beat that gets everyone going. From the back of the stage, he commands attention and his background vocals round out a very talented group who always “leave em wanting more”!

Come out and have some fun on the Morehead City waterfront this weekend at Southern Salt!

Their bio reads: This is what happens when two different worlds collide. Ryan Martinie of Mudvayne, Bon Lozaga  of Gong Expresso and Tiny Boxes, plus  Mitch Hull unleash an amalgamation of captivating sounds. When Lozaga & Martinie first met in LA and started talking about getting together to create some music, they didn’t know what to expect. Now, as Soften The Glare, their music is evolving, bringing in elements from both their worlds and parts others. Currently their music is headed in a jazz/rock fusion direction with elements of metal, funk, prog and chaos. The band is in the process of writing its debut album.
