On Saturday afternoon I headed out to Sneads Ferry for the town’s 47th Annual Shrimp Festival. Besides funnel cake and many varieties of shrimp they also offered live music for the town folk.
When I arrived I had the opportunity to check out Bad Disguise. Though my camera was not working due to a memory card issue, I did go live to catch the band for my Facebook followers.
This classic rock cover band hails from Jacksonville and they did a great job warming up the crowd and rocking them throughout their three-hour set. To check them out click the link below.
Next up we heard the sounds of Journey by way of the Charlotte based tribute band Trial By Fire. This band was awesome. They have been together in this formation for about three years, but the project which was started 8 years ago was originated by singer Ernie Shepherd. If you enjoy the music of Journey then you will love this band.
This band does a lot of traveling and are on the road in September with shows in Virginia and South Carolina. To become a fan of theirs on Facebook check out their page:
