Live at The City Laundry tonight you can get groovy with the Convalent Electronic Dance Party. Here are all the details I found on the Facebook event page:

GEM Productions is going to be kicking off 2017 with one of our most exciting events yet. Covalent has proven to be one of New Bern’s finest displays of our region’s mindbending audio/visual artists and on January 14th, LIVE at The City Laundry, we’ll be joined by Greenville’s own DJ Tyme. Admission is $5, doors will open at 9:00 p.m. and the show will begin at 10:00 with a local opener. The UNDRGRND‘s Jacob Burke will be providing visuals.

DJ Tyme [Tymellord] (Greenville, N.C.) –

DJ Tyme is arguably eastern North Carolina’s finest DJ in recent memory. The self-described ‘bass wizard’ blends together popular hip-hop, R&B and pop vocal samples with spine-tingling bass lines and unique percussive hits to make for an experience as complex and immersive as it is accessible. Tracks flow together with eclectic transitions but still ease into one another seamlessly. Whether you’re a hip-hop head or casual dance music fan looking for something to do on a Saturday night, DJ Tyme is your stop for the weekend if you’re looking to get weird with it.

DIELON (New Bern, N.C.) –

New to the North Carolina dance music scene is New Bern’s own DIELON. With a sound that harkens back to the early days of Chicago warehouse parties, DIELON’s old-school house influences shine clearly through via his hypnotic rhythms and spaced-out synth sounds. Those who long for a simpler time when the phrase “EDM” had not yet been uttered and patient DJs focused on gradual builds and slow-burning sets will feel right at home when DIELON opens up the evening’s festivities.
