Kaylin Roberson is a local 17 year old singer songwriter with a beautiful heart. Kaylin found her inspiration to sing, write and connect with others after she became a dog attack victim just 7 short years ago. You can find Kaylin playing throughout Raleigh and the Triangle area whether as a soloist playing the piano or accompanied by a guitarist to a full band. In as little as a few months apart, Kaylin has been awarded the youngest champion to have ever won the prestigious 2015 Deep South Open Mic Night, beating over 600 adult contestants, Clayton’s Teen Idol 2015 and Clayton’s Got Talent for 2016. Kaylin rang in the New Year with WRAL as one of the artists to watch in 2016. You can find Kaylin Co-writing with other local artists and in the studio recording while building a repertoire of songs soon to be released in the Spring of 2016. Kaylin built a fan base of over ten thousand after touring schools, speaking in front of thousands of teens about anti-bullying with Teen Nation and The One Voice Project. Kaylin is also the spokesperson for Doggone Safe and the youth representative for the Holly Springs Mayor’s Anti Bullying Campaign. Join the thousands of fans who already love her as she continues to grow in 2016. She will be opening for Nantucket, singing at the NC State Packapalooza, the WRAL Freedom Balloon Festival and will return to Nashville, TN to perform at 3rd & Lindsley for an “Evening With The Hit Makers” in support of the Live4Tay Foundation.
