~ On The Scene with Tracey Stones ~
As the Super moon was rising over New Bern and Bridgeton on Sunday evening I stopped at Union Point, to catch a glimpse of beautiful moon in all its orange glory, before heading to Circa 1810ย Bar & Restaurant at The Harvey Mansion to chill with friends for dinner and listen to the island sounds and topical grooves of Barefoot Wadeย on the patio. This was Wade’s second gig on under the tent and much like the first one, he did not stop playing music from the word go. This man is amazing. He is the true definition of a one man band, work in progress, boogie hustle machine. If you have not enjoyed his fun sounds of surf and scenes and love stories combined with timed melodies…you are missing out!
To really celebrate his music and life you should consider coming out tonight and enjoy this entertainer doing what he loves, sharing his music for his birthday. He will be performing at Captain Bob Beck;s Marina Cafe, located on Marine Blvd., Jacksonville. Enjoy dinner and the sounds enjoyable, served up by Birthday Boy Barefoot Wade from 7:30-10:30 pm.
To keep up with this talented artist, that blends each show with a balance of original works and covers familiar to many, be sure to check out his website. That’s where you can buy his discs and keep up with his show dates. Here is the link to follow:
