Cruisin’ Along the Coast
TreeHouse will be in the house at SALT Ultra Lounge, located at 325 Mangrove Blvd., Emerald Isle, NC. They are a fun reggae band with the good beats to groove you from 9 pm til 1 am
4EverAll will be in the Garden this evening at Carolina Home & Garden, located at 4778 Highway 24 E, Newport, NC. Music starts at 7 pm and the acoustic duo will entertain until 10 pm. There is a $5.00 cover charge and lots of free finger foods to sample and enjoy.
Random Drink, featuring Veronica Welch and Arlin Tart, are the variety duo who will be performing tonight at The Saltwater Grill, located at 99 W Church St., Swansboro, NC. Music plays in the lounge from 6:30-9:30 pm.
For those in the Wilmington area, I suggest heading over to Burnt Mill Creeek Billiards & Wine Bar, located at 2101 Market St., Wilmington, NC. That is where you can check out Mechanical Boulevard, they offer good ol Americana Bluegrass and folk selections from 7-10 pm.

~ Rocking Around The Region ~
Greensboro Symphony Orchestra, will offer their Tanger Outlets Masterworks Series: The One Tenor Concert, will be on stage at Guilford College, 5800 W Friendly Way, Greensboro, NC. Tickets available for this performance through Ticketmaster and you can get yours by following this link:
Arlo Guthrie and his Rolling Down The Road Tour will be stopping at The Carolina Theater, located at 310 S Greene St.. Greensboro, NC. This show will take place from 8-10 pm and you can get your tickets by following this link:
There is a double bill of entertainment on tap for tonight at Ritz Raleigh, located at 2820 Industrial Ave., Raleigh, NC. Tonight you can check out the band Shovels & Rope and John Moreland. Doors for the show open at 7 pm and music starts at 8 pm. Tickets are $25.00 each plus tax and can be found at
Live tonight at Diva’s Night Club, located at 4400 Craftsman Dr., Raleigh, NC, you can check out the hip hop sensation Matti Baybee. Tickets for this show are $20 and are available they eventbrite.com. Doors open at 8 pm and music starts at 9 pm.

Tonight at Korner Pocket Sports Bar & Grille, located at 8508 Capital Blvd., Raleigh, NC, open the stage up for an acoustic and electric open jam session that starts at 9 pm and carries on til 1 am. Come out with your band and show off your skills and enjoy a nice cold beverage. You are welcome to come early for the great food and stay late for the fun and music.
Live tonight at Saints & Scholars Pub, located at 909 Spring Forest Rd., Raleigh, NC, they offer the sounds of Nico Zarcone under the lights from 8 pm til midnight. This event is free, so come support this local talent with songs to share.
Speaking of local, it is Local Beer and Local Band night tonight at Pour House Music Hall, located at 224 S Blount St., Raleigh, NC. On stage tonight you can catch Old Quarter, The Vegabonds and Shelles. There is a $5.00 cover charge to enter and the doors open at 8:30 pm. Music starts at 9 pm.
This next event is one that is going down on the radio so we can all tune in tonight.

The Boom Unit Brass Band bills itself as “the best brass players and the baddest drummer in the Triangle (who) come together to bring you something old and something new.” Tune in this Thursday night at 9:00 PM as Boom Unit’s Brannon Bollinger joins me in the studio to discuss some musical influences. It’s only on your community station Little Raleigh Radio.

Live tonight at North Street Pub & Eatery, come out and enjoy the sounds of J Lane from 7-11 pm. NSP&E is located at 115 North Street, Kinston, NC.
Checking out a few other areas around the state, Jacob Bribble has a show tonight at Michael’s Sideshow Grill, located at 102 N Pine St., Spring Hope, NC. His show starts at 6:30 and he will offer Jazz in the lounge to accompany dinner and drinks.
Live tonight at Outlaw’s Bridge Universalist Church, 4408 N NC Highway 111, Seven Springs, NC, you can enjoy the sounds of the New Bern based family band, Strung Together. They will be live from 7:30 – 9 pm. Dinner will be served at 6:30 so grab the kids and come enjoy food, fellowship and song tonight!
McCullers Crossroad is making their FIRST appearance at Lorraine’s Coffee House, 101 Timber Pointe Rd, Garner, NC!!! They are looking forward to an awesome show that promises to be fun for all ages. Music starts tonight at 7:30 pm and jams continue til 9:30 pm.
WatersView Restaurant opens doors for an Open Mic event each week. Music starts at 6 pm and you are encouraged to bring your talent, your instrument, your voice and even some friends. You join the fun by heading to 2107 Eaton Ferry Rd., Littleton, NC. Head out the door hungry and enjoy the view and a great meal with music.
Jerry Coyle is slotted to play Westridge Grill, located at 3639 Sunset Ave., Rocky Mount, NC. He will deliver his acoustic varieties from 7-11 pm as you enjoy the good food and tasty beverages.

Gettin’ Down Around Town New Bern
Live @ The City Laundry offers Vintage Thursday featuring, the sounds of the talented voice artist, Alisa Mike. She will be performing this evening for the dinner crowd from 6:30-9:30 pm. If you have not made it out to this fine new place in town, make a date to enjoy dinner and music tonight. They are located at 901 Pollock St., New Bern, NC.
The Brown Pelican, located at 411 Broad St, New Bern, NC ,opens their doors for an Open Mic event each and every Thursday. Come down and enjoy the local talent and a tasty beverage tonight from 7 pm til 11 or until the player’s head home. All levels are welcome. Open mics are great for beginners and bands that need rehearsal in from of live audiences.
