The Forgotten Man
Ben Sparaco
Farmer Shatterheart
Daniel Nickels
Ben Sparaco is a young up and coming guitarist, singer, and songwriter based in Nashville, TN. At just 19, Ben has toured nationally playing his own music and with members of the Allman Brothers Band. His debut album “Wooden” was released in January of 2017. Produced by fiddle and Mandolin player Ross Holmes (Bruce Hornsby and The Noisemakers, Mumford and Sons, Warren Haynes), “Wooden” blends Americana and folk rock influences with southern jam and soul music and includes a guest spot from North Mississippi Allstars and Black Crowes guitarist Luther Dickinson. Ben’s live show expands on the folk inspired songs featured on Wooden with inspired slide guitar playing and extended improvisation backed by a band of some of Nashville’s finest session musicians.
The Forgotten Man
The Forgotten Man is a four-piece rock n’ roll outfit based out of Raleigh, NC, which has drawn comparisons to bands such as The Replacements, Modest Mouse, and Ramshackle Glory. The Forgotten Man’s material draws from numerous genres including punk, folk, country, grunge, electronica and doo-wop and explores lyrical themes ranging from the existential to the eschatological to the absurd. The Forgotten Man’s songs are both impassioned and sardonic; comical and foreboding. More importantly, when people hear The Forgotten Man’s music, they tend to “get down”. It’s a whole lot of fun.
The Forgotten Man is fronted by singer-songwriter Wilson Getchell, with Kelley Otwell on lead guitar, “Keebler” on bass guitar, and Tradd Yancey on drums.
Farmer Shatterheart
Gritty vocals, lots of jams. A rhythmically heavy acoustic duo based out of Raleigh, NC.
Daniel Nickels
Daniel Nickels, based in Savannah, Georgia is an acclaimed, up and coming singer songwriter who has traveled the world playing music. A true vocal artist, the musical genres he can sing span the whole spectrum. His diverse musical projects include collaborations in rock, pop, hip hop, rhythm and blues, folk, instrumental and alternative. Nickels, a talented, expressive singer prides himself in his soulful songwriting. Fans enjoy how his songwriting is based on real life situations and experiences he skillfully and passionately intertwines with stirring melodies and storytelling.
Nickels who originally hails from Oregon entered the music scene as an acoustic styled songwriter in 2008, and since then has expanded his genre, now encompassing everything from adult contemporary to pop/rock. He enjoys infusing jazz chords and melodic phrase into his musical style, thus appealing to a more broad listening audience.
Nickels has released three albums as the lead singer of Leeward Fate. He has performed and collaborated with various bands during his musical career including The District, PSR and Seconds From A Fall. Nickels, who is also a composer and guitar player, is currently working on producing on his first solo album to be released sometime in 2015.
