This Sunday, Tracey Stones Productions LLC will present The Carolina Swamp Dogs for a concert in the Park at Red Sail Park. This performance is for the residents and friends of Fairfield Harbour. Pack up a picnic and meet us under the pavilion.
This concert in the Park Series will be Sunday, August 11, 2019. 3 pm is showtime. There is no cost for this show and there is no guarantee for the band. Please show this band of true American Heroes some love this weekend. I suggest a $10.00 or more donation per family. They don’t do it for the money, they do it to share their love of music. These players are retired Marines, who enjoy sharing songs and spreading the news about the blues. Here is a sample of their own music!

NCMZ.LIVE is happy to announce our new calendar feature. We now offer three calendars for music lovers to check out for live music events. With a growing commitment to building this site to be a daily vehicle for music lovers to check out, I have added the new calendars pages and widgets. These pages and calendar widgets are broken down by area, New Bern, The Crystal Coast and Around the Region.
This offers readers a resourceful tool to finding music in their area, all around the state, every day of the week. I am committing myself to the new routine of finding new gigs to list and add to the calendars daily. Committed to adding a minimum of ten a day that means adding 70 gigs a week to these calendars.
Bands and venues are welcome to invite me to their events on Facebook or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org. There is no cost to be listed on occasion, but please understand just like free music is not free, this free promotional service is not free either. It costs me a great amount of time.
If you are a busy band or a thriving music venue, I want you! We can create a calendar for you and keep you in the zone! $250 a year and you can have all your events added to a personal calendar widget right here in the music zone. Advertisers will be responsible for providing the event’s content.
Beside offering calendar options, NCMZ.LIVE also can create an active link for your website, or social media pages. Which also offers some live coverage for your live music events. For five years we have been building this site together and thanks to your suggestions and my commitment it keeps getting better. THANK YOU!
I will still bring you live coverage of the music scene around us in the random fashion we have become accustomed to in these five years of reporting. Without your support since September, none of this would be possible. So a big shout out and thank you to everyone who has extended a hand, offered a tip, bought me a meal or a beer, I love you all for the love you have shared with me! And every time I think I have to quit, you really have stepped up to help me keep the beats! Together we are building an awesome product that we can be proud of as we share it with our friends.

The original line up included Van Temple on guitar and vocals, former Whiteface member Kyle Henderson on bass and vocals, former Billy Joe Royal sideman, Wayne Famous, on keyboards and Bryan Holmes on drums. Originally formed as a Beatles cover band named Cartoon, they changed musical directions and began performing their own material in nightclubs around the Atlanta area.
The response to their music was so good that they were quickly signed to CBS subsidiary Portrait Records by producer Tom Werman, who had worked with Cheap Trick, REO Speedwagon and Mother’s Finest, among others. They released two albums for the Portrait label, The Producers (1981) and You Make the Heat (1982). The Producers became a regional favorite in the southeastern United States, propelling “What She Does To Me” onto the national Billboard Magazine singles charts.”What’s He Got”, “Certain Kinda Girl“, and “Who Do You Think You Are” had some popularity as music videos but did not chart. They toured extensively opening for Cheap Trick, and The Motels. “She Sheila” from their second album was a popular MTV video. They headlined MTV’s New Year’s Rockin Eve in 1982.
