Rockin’ Around Town with Tracey Stones
For the past year, I have been delighted to bring the music to Circa 1810 Bar & Restaurant at Harvey Mansion. When I signed up for this task, our budget was low to nearly non-existent. I knew that with time and promotions I could build it. Thanks to all who believe in my dream and supported those efforts.
As a vendor who operates as a consultant for bars and clubs, as well as bands and artists; my services are generally needed for a contractual amount of time.
Though the year at Circa 1810 was challenging, it was met with great success. Throughout the Spring and Summer, 2017 fans of local music grew to rely on us having the bands that would groove you. Moving forward in my own endeavors, I have much of the year booked for this venue that I am leaving behind. I will still be promoting the music and writing about the good times I have on the patio.
Moving forward at Circa 1810, management has enough contacts and baseline band agreements to continue the work we started for the rest of their time in business. Together we endured the elements, the citizen’s complaints and the many great successes of good time music on the patio. Here is to more great times moving forward!

With so many venues around, there is always work to be done. Recently, the management staff at Christoph’s on the Water and DoubleTree by Hilton called me in for a meeting, about bringing music back to the deck. As many locals recall, the Deck Parties at DoubleTree were epic events, that took place each weekend. It has been a while since the good old days, but I am hopeful we can relive some fun memories while making new ones with live music playing for our entertainment.
From our meeting, the managers forwarded 11 dates for me to fill with local entertainment. We are hopeful that with time and proper promotions we can build another budget to support live music once again. Save the dates, as the deck party will return to The DoubleTree by Hilton, during the last weekend of the month with a couple of great blues offerings courtesy of New Bern talent!!
