Richard Gibson hosts an acoustic jam every Tuesday at Catawba Brewing Co. Biltmore Village, located at 63 Brooke St., Ste. 1, Asheville, NC. Music starts at 6 pm and the jam goes til 9 pm. All players are welcome to join in the fun each week.

For fans of clogging, I have a treat for you. Bobby & The Blue Ridge Tradition along with the Blue Heritage Cloggers will be live at Wild Wing Cafe, located at 161 Biltmore Ave., Asheville, NC. Music starts at 6 pm and the fun times last time 8:30 pm. Get ready to dance; this event happens each week.

Live at The Grey Eagle, located at 185 Clingman Ave., Asheville, NC,  you can enjoy the music of Gaelynn Lee with Oh Jeremiah. They will perform from Tuesday, January 31, 2017. Doors open at 7 pm- 11 pm. Music starts at 8 pm and the cost is $15.00 at the door.This is an all ages event, so bring the family!

Marching Church, along with Bernardino Femminielli and Konvoi, are on tap for your music enjoyment on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at The Mothlight, located at 701 Haywood Dr., Asheville, NC. Tickets for this general admission show are $10.00 and available at the door. Doors open at 8 pm and music gets started at 9 pm.

Neil deGrasse Tyson will be in Greensboro this Tuesday, January 31, 2017. He will be performing live at Greensboro Coliseum Complex, located at 1821 W Gate City Blvd., Greensboro, NC. This concert starts at 7 pm. To get your tickets follow this link:

It is Beer & Banjos at Raleigh Times Bar, located at 14 E Hargett St., Raleigh, NC; featuring the music of Curtis Eller who will perform solo for this show. Music starts at 8 pm and goes till 11 pm.

Reagan Youth will be on stage at Kings, located at 14 W Martin St, Raleigh, NC, this Tuesday from 8 pm til midnight rocking your cares away. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12.00 at the door. You can get yours by clicking on this link:

There is always something great going on at The Blue Note Grill, located at 709 Washington Ave., Durham, NC. On Tuesday it is time to dance. No kidding, here is what I learned on the Facebook event page:

Hey there! Who wants to get some groove on? Come on out to the Blue Note Grill’s Tuesday Blues Jam for some free Swing & Blues dancing!!! This is part of our monthly dance events taking place on the 1st, 3rd ad 5th Tuesdays of the month and is an open invite so be sure to invite whoever you like! We’ve already reserved the large table to the left of the stage for all the dancers, Just tell them that you are friends of Down Right Dance to get the best seat in the house!
Since there is no cover, it’s always a good idea to show your support by buying a drink or some food. Hope to see you there!
